Yaverlandia bitholus

Taxonomy
Yaverlandia bitholus was named by Galton (1971). Its type specimen is MIWG 1530, a skull, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Yaverland Battery, Sandown, which is in a Hauterivian/Barremian fluvial siltstone/marl in the Wessex Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Yaverlandia.
