Timimus hermani
Taxonomy
Timimus hermani was named by Rich and Vickers-Rich (1994). Its type specimen is NMV P186303, a limb element (left femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dinosaur Cove East, which is in an Albian floodplain horizon in the Eumeralla Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Timimus.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Makovicky et al. (2004); it was considered a nomen dubium by Hocknull et al. (2009), Agnolin et al. (2010).
