Gobiates leptocolaptus

Taxonomy
Eopelobates leptocolaptus was named by Borsuk-Bialynicka (1978). Its type specimen is ZPal MgAb-III/1, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khermeen Tsav II, Middle Red Beds [PMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.

It was recombined as Gobiates leptocolaptus by Spinar and Tatarinov (1986), Sanchiz (1998), Shishkin (2000), Roček (2008).
