Taxonomy
Hesperiella elongata was named by Yoo (1994). Its type locality is Rangari. Yoo Loc. 18, 4.15 km northeast of Rangari homestead, which is in a Hastarian marine limestone in the Tulcumba Sandstone Formation of Australia.
