Attockicetus praecursor
Taxonomy
Attockicetus praecursor was named by Thewissen and Hussain (2000). Its type specimen is H-GSP 96232, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is H-GSP 9204, which is in a Lutetian marine mudstone/limestone in the Kohat Formation of Pakistan.
