Plesiomeryx cadurcensis
Taxonomy
Plesiomeryx cadurcensis was named by Gervais (1873). Its type specimen is MNHN-QU 1772, a mandible (dext. with p2-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mouillac, which is in a Rupelian terrestrial phosphorite in the Quercy Phosphorites Formation of France.
