Amydrocarcinus dantei

Taxonomy
Amydrocarcinus dantei was named by Schweitzer et al. (2002). Its type specimen is MHN-UABCS/Te14/43-32 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tepetate Decapods-El Conejo, which is in an Eocene/Eocene marginal marine sandstone in the Tepetate Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Amydrocarcinus.
