Eomysticetus whitmorei
Taxonomy
Eomysticetus whitmorei was named by Sanders and Barnes (2002). Its type specimen is ChM PV4253, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Greenhurst, which is in a Chattian shoreface sandstone in the Chandler Bridge Formation of South Carolina.
