Eosiren abeli
Taxonomy
Eosiren abeli was named by Sickenberg (1934) [destroyed in World War II]. Its type specimen is BSP 1903 II 21, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gebel Mokattam, lower, which is in a Lutetian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Mokattam Formation of Egypt.
