Xenosiren yucateca
Taxonomy
Xenosiren yucateca was named by Domning (1989). Its type specimen is IGM 4190, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cenote Kambul, which is in a Hemphillian carbonate limestone in the Carrillo Puerto Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Xenosiren.
