Tarascosaurus salluvicus

Taxonomy
Tarascosaurus salluvicus was named by Le Loeuff and Buffetaut (1991). Its type specimen is FSL 330201. Its type locality is Lambeau de Beausset, which is in a Campanian/Campanian carbonate limestone in France.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Rauhut (2003).

J. Le Loeuff and E. Buffetaut 1991Petit abelisauridé dont le col du fémur est particulièrement étroit antéro-postérieurement. Processus tranverses très larges antéro-postérieurement. Lames infradiapophysaires des vertèbres dorsales divergeant sous les diapophyses. Tête du fémur dirigée antéro-médialement. Projection dorsale du petit trochanter (ou trochanter antérieur) limitée. Foramen sous le petit trochanter. Présence d'une structure hyposphène-hypantrum. Structure interne des vertèbres très caverneuse.
