Planicoxa venenica
Taxonomy
Planicoxa venenica was named by DiCroce and Carpenter (2001). Its type specimen is DMNH 42504 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tony's Bone Bed (DMNS 2182), which is in an Aptian lacustrine limestone/mudstone in the Cedar Mountain Formation of Utah.
