Taxonomy
Zuniceratops christopheri was named by Wolfe and Kirkland (1998). Its type specimen is MSM P2101 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Haystack Butte, MSM 98-65, which is in a Turonian crevasse splay mudstone in the Moreno Hill Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Zuniceratops.
