Taxonomy
Eupatagus stevensi was named by Grant and Hertlein (1938). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CSUN Loc. 374, Las Llajas Canyon, which is in a Lutetian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Llajas Formation of California.
