Ornithodesmus cluniculus

Taxonomy
Ornithodesmus cluniculus was named by Seeley (1887). Its type specimen is BMNH R187, a set of postcrania (synsacrum), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Brook (Fox collection) [PROXY], which is in a Barremian terrestrial horizon in the Wessex Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Ornithodesmus.

It was considered a nomen vanum by Howse and Milner (1993).
