Texasetes
Taxonomy
Texasetes was named by Coombs (1995). Its type is Texasetes pleurohalio. It was considered monophyletic by Vickaryous et al. (2004).
It was synonymized subjectively with Pawpawsaurus by Kirkland et al. (2013).
It was assigned to Ankylosauria by Vickaryous et al. (2004); and to Nodosauridae by Pereda Suberbiola and Galton (1997), Carpenter and Kirkland (1998), Carpenter (2001), Pereda Suberbiola and Galton (2001), Han et al. (2014), Blows and Honeysett (2014) and Yang et al. (2017).
