Galvesaurus herreroi
Taxonomy
Galvesaurus herreroi was named by Barco et al. (2005). Its type specimen is CLH-16, a set of vertebrae, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cuesta Lonsal 1, Galve, which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian fluvial-deltaic claystone/sandstone in the Villar del Arzobispo Formation of Spain.
It was synonymized objectively with Galveosaurus herreroi by Sánchez-Hernández (2006), Cobos et al. (2014).
