Lisserpeton bairdi

Taxonomy
Lisserpeton bairdi was named by Estes (1965). Its type specimen is AMNH 8123, a set of vertebrae (complete dorsal vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bug Creek Anthills, which is in a Maastrichtian coarse channel fill sandstone in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana.
