Sonorasaurus thompsoni

Taxonomy
Sonorasaurus thompsoni was named by Ratkevich (1998). Its type specimen is ASDM 500, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is "Sonorasaurus" site, Whetstone Mountains, which is in an Albian/Cenomanian fluvial sandstone in the Turney Ranch Formation of Arizona.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Upchurch et al. (2004).
