Cambaya complexus
Taxonomy
Cambaya complexus was named by Bajpai et al. (2005). Its type specimen is IITR/SB/VLM 508, a tooth (isolated left [lower] P4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India. It is the type species of Cambaya.
