Taxonomy
Eotyrannus lengi was named by Hutt et al. (2001). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MIWG 1997.550. Its type locality is 100 m east of Grange Chine (bed L11), which is in a Hauterivian/Barremian floodplain claystone in the Wessex Formation of the United Kingdom.
