Taxonomy
Straparollina holtedahli was named by Strand (1932). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Skilberg, Smøla Island, which is in a Darriwilian carbonate limestone in the Skjølberg Formation of Norway.
It was corrected as Straparollina holdedahli by Rohr et al. (2004).
