Taxonomy
Eotomaria ulrichi was named by Endo (1932). Its type locality is Half mile west of Shang-kang-yao, 3 miles southeast Yen-Tai, which is in an Arenig carbonate limestone in the Kangyao Formation of China.
It was recombined as Palaeoschisma ulrichi by Wagner (2023).
