Massospondylus hislopi
Lydekker (1890) names this species based on a vertebra which he states is figured in "Pal. Ind., ser. 4, vol. i, pt. 5, pl. v, fig. 4". He also refers to the species as "the Maleri Dinosaur". As such, the type specimen probably belongs in Collection No. 112285, but it is also likely that this specimen has been reidentified since then. As a result, this occurrence has not been added to that collection at present.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Galton and Upchurch (2004).
