Archaeotetra inornata
Taxonomy
Archaeotetra inornata was named by Schweitzer (2005). Its type specimen is MHN-UABCS/BA12-5 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Waypoint 29 San Ignacio, which is in an Eocene offshore shelf horizon in the Bateque Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Archaeotetra.
