Taxonomy
Ignotornis yangi was named by Kim et al. (2006). It is not extant. Its type specimen is KNUE 040417. Its type locality is Gain-ri tracksite, Changseon Island, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial sandstone/shale in the Haman Formation of South Korea.
