Knight 1941Very small, subturbinate, minutely phaneromphalous gastropods, without a sinus, slit, or selenizone; whorl profile gently arched between sutures, rounded below on the final whorl; sutures moderately deep; nucleus simple, dextral, not sharply marked off from the succeeding whorls; base rounded, minutely phaneromphalous; columellar lip thin, gently arcuate, slightly reflexed about the umbilicus; parietal inductura very thin or wanting; outer lip gently oblique backwards from the upper suture, nearly straight; ornamentation fine revolving lirae that are frequently of unequal strength owing to the intercalation of new lirae on the later whorls; shell thin, of two distinctly different layers.
