Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria (Coelozone) verna was named by Perner (1907) [Barrande in Perner 1907]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bubovice, which is in a Ludfordian carbonate limestone in the Kopanina Formation of Czechia. It is the type species of Coelozone, Pleurotomaria (Coelozone). 
It was recombined as Coelozone verna by Knight (1941), Linsley (1968), Wagner (2023).
