Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria (Euryzone) deformata was named by Perner (1907). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bubovice, which is in a Ludfordian carbonate limestone in the Kopanina Formation of Czechia.

It was recombined as Euryzone deformata by Wagner (2023).
