Taxonomy
Trochonema (Globonema) kokeni was named by Wenz (1938). It is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Globonema, Trochonema (Globonema).

It was recombined as Globonema kokeni by Wagner (2023).

Synonyms
  • Nematotrochus bicarinatus was named by Koken and Perner (1925) [This is effin' confusing. This is NOT Wahlenberg's species, although Koken & Perner refer to him. What they actually refer to is a different Turbo bicarinatus that Dalm attributes to Wahlenberg in an unpublished ms. So, I suppose that it is Turbo bicarinatus Wahlneberg in Dalm in Koken & Perner 1925....]. It is a 3D body fossil.

    It was replaced with Trochonema (Globonema) kokeni by Wenz (1938); it was recombined as Trochonema bicarinata by Rong et al. (2008).
