Taxonomy
Murchisonia (Murchisonia) deludisubzona was named by Linsley (1968) [Murchisonia (Murchisonia) deludisubzona Linsley 1968]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Locality 17: Solvay Processing Co., Unit 8, Sibley, which is in an Eifelian carbonate limestone in the Lucas Formation of Michigan.
It was recombined as Murchisonia deludisubzona by Rollins et al. (1971), Blodgett et al. (1999), Wagner (2023).
