Pharkidonotus altitropis
Taxonomy
Bellerophon (Pharkidonotus) altitropis was named by Kulas and Batten (1997) [Bellerophon (Pharkidonotus) altitropis Kulas & Batten 1997]. Its type specimen is UW #A2877a, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH B631, Rock Ford, Fremont County, which is in a Roadian marine limestone in the Phosphoria Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Pharkidonotus altitropis by Wagner (2023).
