Pleurotaunica subimbricata
Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria subimbricata was named by Whidborne (1892). It is not extant. Its type locality is Lummaton Quarries, West of St. Mary Church, Lummaton Parrish, Torquay, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Torquay Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Glabrocingulum (Glabrocingulum) subimbricata by Batten (1972); it was recombined as Pleurotaunica subimbricata by Wagner (2023).
