Taxonomy
Retispira tasselli was named by Frýda (2000). It is not extant. Its type locality is Unterthal Loc. 09, Herrenstrunden, Bergisches Lan, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Bücheler Schichten Formation of Germany.
