Galileomys eurygnathus
Taxonomy
Galileomys eurygnathus was named by Kramarz (2004). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MACN Pv SC2163, left mandibular fragment bearing p4-m2, a mandible. Its type locality is Portezuelo Sumich Sur, Pinturas Fm., Lago Buenos Aires, Santa Cruz, which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial horizon in the Pinturas Formation of Argentina.
