Picturotherium migueli
Taxonomy
Picturotherium migueli was named by Kramarz and Bond (2005). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MACN Pv SC4110, left P2-M2, a set of teeth. Its type locality is Estancia Ana María, Pinturas Fm., Lago Buenos Aires, which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Pinturas Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Picturotherium.
