Taxonomy
Tetramerorhinus fleaglei was named by Kramarz and Bond (2005). It is not extant. Its type locality is Portezuelo Sumich Norte, Pinturas Fm., Lago Buenos Aires, which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Pinturas Formation of Argentina.
