Kalosauropus masitisii
Taxonomy
Kalosauropus masitisii was named by Ellenberger (1970). It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Masitise tracksite (zone B/3), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial sandstone in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho.
It was recombined as Katosauropus masitisii by Ellenberger (1972); it was considered a nomen nudum by Nicosia and Loi (2003), Rainforth (2003).
