Taxonomy
Lesueurilla supraconvexa was named by Cullison (1944). Its type locality is Ulrich 281-b (= Ulrich station 310). 4 miles south of Chadwick. Forsyth quad., which is in a Cassinian carbonate dolomite in the Cotter Formation of Missouri.
It was recombined as Bridgeites supraconvexa by Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2023).
