Sphenosphaera subangularis
Taxonomy
Bellerophon subangularis was named by Ulrich and Scofield (1897) [Bellerophon subangularis Ulrich in Ulrich & Scofield 1897]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Richmond, Whitewater Fm., which is in a Richmondian marine reef rocks in the Whitewater Formation of Indiana.
It was recombined as Sphenosphaera subangularis by Wahlman (1992) and Wagner (2023).
