Euconospira waterlooensis
Taxonomy
Bembexia waterlooensis was named by Weller (1916). It is not extant. Its type locality is Bed No. 8, Fountain Creek, 2 miles southwest of Waterloo, which is in a Chesterian carbonate limestone in the Ste. Genevieve Formation of Illinois.
It was recombined as Spiroscala waterlooensis by Yochelson (1969); it was recombined as Euconospira waterlooensis by Thein and Nitecki (1974), Wagner (2023).
