Taxonomy
Euomphalus rugosus was named by Sowerby (1814). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Oriostoma discors rugosum by Lindström (1884), Wenjukov (1899); it was recombined as Poleumita rugosa by Wagner (1999), Wagner (2023).
