Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
E. Landing and K.E. Bartowski 1996Micromollusks with rapidly expanding, bilaterally symmetrical, cyrtoconic conch with circular to elliptical cross-section and slightly flattened anterior margin; conch surface with transverse ridges and low nodes or short spines; visceral surface of conch with subtle, comarginal ridges.

Description.- Conch rapidly expanding, cyrtoconic, with overhanging apex, reaches at least 3 mm in length; cross section approximately circular apically and in small specimens but anteroposteriorly elongate ellipse in larger specimens; concave (anterior) margin slightly flattened and forms a low, ridge-like geniculation at transition into lateral margins of shell; conch surface characterized by low, nodose ridges that form transverse ornament; nodes and low spines are 10-15 pm-high; visceral surface relatively smooth with very low, subtle, comarginal ridges and radial ridge at right and left margins of surface-overhung by apex; muscle scars and morphologically distinct protoconch unknown.
