Trochonemella knoxvillensis

Taxonomy
Lophospira knoxvillensis was named by Ulrich and Scofield (1897) [Lophospira (?) knoxvillensis Ulrich in Ulrich & Scofield 1897]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lenoir, which is in a Chazyan offshore shelf lime mudstone in the Lenoir Formation of Tennessee.

It was recombined as Trochonemella knoxvillensis by Okulitch (1935), Rohr (1980), Wagner (1995), Wagner (2023).
