Trochonemella notablis

Taxonomy
Lophospira notablis was named by Ulrich and Scofield (1897) [Lophospira (?) notablis Ulrich in Ulrich & Scofield 1897]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beech Grove, which is in a Rocklandian shallow subtidal limestone in the Carters Limestone Formation of Tennessee. It is the type species of Trochonemella.

It was recombined as Trochonemella notablis by Okulitch (1935), Wilson (1951), Rohr (1980), Wagner (1995), Wagner (1999), Wagner (2023).
