Sinistrispira monticola
Taxonomy
Euomphalus (Morphotropis) monticola was named by Spitz (1907). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Light Gray Riffskalk, Judenköpf, im Westen des Coglians, Carnic Alps, which is in a Pragian carbonate limestone in the Grau Riffkalk Formation of Austria.
It was recombined as Straparollus (Sinistrispira) monticola by Jhaveri (1969); it was recombined as Sinistrispira monticola by Wagner (2023).
