Taxonomy
Mourlonia mjoesa was named by Yochelson (1963). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pulkovo, Asaphus raniceps, which is in a Kunda carbonate wackestone/packstone in the Obukhovo Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Deacheospira mjoesa by Wagner (1999).
