Catazone eversolensis
Taxonomy
Murchisonia eversolensis was named by Stauffer (1909). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Zone D. Eversole Run, 2 miles north of Delaware County south boundary, which is in an Eifelian carbonate limestone/chert in the Columbus Limestone Formation of Ohio.
It was recombined as Cerithioides eversolensis by Batten (1966), Frýda (2000); it was recombined as Catazone eversolensis by Wagner (2023).
