Murchisonia fugitiva was named by Perner (1903) [Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Murchisonia (Hormotoma) fugitiva by Perner (1907); it was recombined as Coelocaulus fugitiva by Wagner (2023).
