Spinicharybdis elora
Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria elora was named by Billings (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Eurypterid-associated biota of the dolomite of the Lockport Fmn. at Elora, Ont., which is in a Ludlow open shallow subtidal dolomite in the Guelph Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Euomphalopterus elora by Northrop (1939); it was recombined as Spinicharybdis elora by Rohr and Packard (1982), Wagner (2023).
